One concept, two temperatures. The waterline as pure system — or the waterline as memory.
One concept, two temperatures. The waterline as pure system — or the waterline as memory.
The brief she gave her perfumer was one sentence — “the Ligurian sea in February.”
The system, executed without commentary: bone board, a seawater band beginning at the same measured height on every piece, the ONDINE wordmark blind-debossed into the dry white above, and every printed word held below the line in graphite. Nothing is decorated; everything is registered. The suite behaves like the bottle — machined, frosted, certain.

The material, as delivered
Quoted from this suite's own production spec — the stock the invitation was actually printed on. Surfaces are rendered from that spec, not photographed.
The same three values read as memory: the actual Ligurian sea in February, photographed flat and long, the horizon standing in for the waterline. Type floats in the overcast sky in quiet graphite; the sea occupies the card’s lower field, deep and matte. The launch told as the founder’s sentence rather than the brand’s ruler.
