Gold is used only as gilding and as the ampersand of the couple's cipher — it never carries text. Bordeaux appears once in the whole suite, on the sealing wax. If you are matching ribbon, linen, menus-in-situ or signage, match to Warm Ivory and Bistre first.

Day-of notes

Seating chart: By-table list, showing both the number and the château name. Applied as vinyl lettering on a mirror — the stationer supplies the ink layer only, as a vector file with the type ready to convert to outlines. The laurel at the head is a raster and cannot be weeded: print-and-cut it, or leave it off and let the type carry the board. Position it where a crowd of 120 can read it at the entrance without blocking the doors.
Tables: Twelve tables of ten, named for Loire châteaux: Chambord, Chenonceau, Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Chaumont, Ussé, Cheverny, Amboise, Blois, Langeais, Valençay, Montsoreau. Table numbers stand 100 × 130 mm and are read from across the room.
Head table: Table 1 (Chambord) — the couple, both sets of parents, and grandmother Delacroix.
Table numbers: Deliberately the barest piece in the suite: no frame, no rules, no gilding. Please do not add holders or stands that reintroduce ornament — a plain weighted base or a simple slot is right.
The mark: The laurel appears once per piece and never as a border. If you are producing anything additional, keep to that rule.
Timeline: Four o'clock, guests arrive — welcome coupe in the cour d'honneur · Half past four, ceremony · Half past five, cocktails on the river terrace · Half past seven, dinner in the orangerie · Ten o'clock, first dance and the pièce montée · Half past ten, dancing in the vaulted cellar · One o'clock, onion soup and last carriages.
Late-night note: The one o'clock onion soup is a Delacroix family tradition — it is not a filler service and should not be cut for time.
